This is my interpretation of the Mk Vc flown by Flt. Sgts. George Gilbert and Dudley Grinlington, No. 79 Squadron.. The aircraft is depicted as it appeared in Sept/Aug 1943 shortly after it's arrival at Kiriwina Island. It had the white tail and wing leading edge, the original serial number and the emblem was not yet finished.
